Status of Parks & Trails
We know you’re drawn to Black Mountain for its beauty. We are, too. Tragically, Hurricane Helene’s waters and winds caused significant damage to many natural areas in the Swannanoa Valley. CLICK HERE for the status of our Town parks. The Black Mountain Golf Course is closed at this time. Good news: Town Square is open!
Meanwhile, clean-up efforts are on-going throughout Western North Carolina parks and trails. We recommend you refer to the State’s Places to Visit website to check the current status of a specific park or trail.
